Burn-Shield Technology
Burn Sheild Technology is a patented innovation that offers fire resistance capable of achieving the highest level of fire ratings on steep-slope roofs, featured in Polystick XFR, a self-adhered high temp underlayment and Polyanchor XFR, a nailable underlayment, and PolyFresksko G FR, a granulated capsheet, the combination of these products provides an encompassing system to protect and encourage smoldering from fires and their debris.

Polyanchor SFR - Ember Resistant Fire Rated Underlayment
Polyanchor XFR is a fire-rated dual purpose ember and water resistant underlayment. Polyanchor XFR features a plastomeric modified bitumen upper compound and a self-sealing SBS modified compound on the bottom. Polyglass’ patent-pending Burn-Shield Technology® provides superior ember resistance. Polyanchor XFR features a slip-resistant embedded mineral aggregate walking surface which contributes to the overall ember resistance of the membrane. The bottom surface is sanded to protect the self-sealing compound. Polyanchor XFR is ideally suited for mechanically attaching under clay/concrete tile roof covering systems where ember resistance is required or desired.
The result is a product which provides water resistance and Class A fire protection in a single layer, instead of the typical solution requiring multiple layers to achieve the same result. This translates to labor and material cost savings which ultimately benefits the building owner and contractor. The building occupants can enjoy peace of mind knowing that Polyanchor XFR is providing safety and protection of their possessions.

Polystick XFR
Polystick XFR is a self-adhered waterproofing underlayment with superior fire resistance designed for metal roof coverings. Utilizing ADESO® dual-compound self-adhered technology, Polystick XFR features a polymer modified bitumen upper compound and a proprietary self-adhesive SBS (elastomeric) compound on the bottom. A split release film that protects the self adhesive compound allows for easy application.
Polyglass’ patented Burn-Shield Technology® provides superior fire and ember resistance in areas where this is required or desired. With a temperature resistance of up to 265°F, Polystick XFR is ideally suited for high temperature roof covering systems such as steel, aluminum, or copper panels. Polystick XFR features a cavitated anti-skid top film surface which can be exposed up to 180 days.
Can be installed as part of a multi-ply underlayment system when used as a secondary layer above Polystick MTS Plus or a two-ply Polystick XFR assembly.

Polyfresko® G SBS HP FR
Polyfresko G SBS HP FR is a premium Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) granulated cap sheet with fire retardant additives for use in low-slope roofing. Polyfresko G SBS HP FR is constructed with a high performance non-woven polyester reinforcement that provides flexibility and dimensional stability as well as excellent tear and puncture resistance. Polyfresko G SBS HP FR has a film bottom surface for heat welding application.
Featuring patented CURE Technology®, Polyfresko G SBS HP FR has a highly reflective granule surface which meets, or exceeds most standards for cool roofing. CURE Technology features an innovative thin film technology attributing to exceptional granule retention, minimal staining, scuff resistance and UV stabilization for long-term durability and performance.
Polyfresko G SBS HP FR can be used as part of a Polyglass warranted multi-ply system, when combined with Elastoflex S6 or other approved Polyglass base sheets.

Polyfresko G HP FR is a premium Atactic Polypropylene (APP) granulated cap sheet with fire retardant additives for use in low-slope roofing. Polyfresko G HP FR is constructed with a high performance non-woven polyester reinforcement that provides flexibility and dimensional stability as well as exceptional tear and puncture resistance. Polyfresko G HP FR has a film bottom surface for heat welding application.

Polyfresko G SA FR
Polyfresko G SA FR is a self-adhered Atactic Polypropylene (APP) granulated cap sheet with fire retardant additives for use in low-slope roofing. Polyfresko G SA FR is manufactured using Polyglass’ patented ADESO® Dual-Compound Self-Adhered Technology. With this technology, a “true” plastomeric compound is applied to the top of the membrane and an aggressive, proprietary, self-adhesive compound is applied to the bottom. Polyfresko G SA FR is constructed with a superior non-woven polyester reinforcement that provides flexibility and dimensional stability as well as excellent tear and puncture resistance.
Featuring patented CURE Technology®, Polyfresko G SA FR has a highly reflective granule surface which meets, or exceeds most standards for cool roofing. CURE Technology features an innovative thin film technology attributing to exceptional granule retention, minimal staining, scuff resistance and UV stabilization for long-term durability and performance.
